Pontiac inductive cam sync...for COP/CNP EFI
I will post an "official" for sale add in the performance parts for sale section also.
The units come either clear/brite anodized silver or black anodized. The body has a sealing O-ring design so no more need for a gasket and or sealer. This O-ring is a chemical resistant O-ring to fuels, brake fluid etc. The body to sensor point also is O-ring sealed. This is a two wire inductive pickup and will work with the FAST or Holley EFI systems as well as others. It is an inductive pickup and flag design. Cam sync W/steel gear & pigtail $349 Cam sync w/BOP Composite gear & Pigtail $419 Black anodizing add $10.00 If you already have a Composite distributor gear call and we can discuss. A picture for the COP/CNP guys, these are our new plates, hope to have the new billet valve covers into production shortly. The advantage, any type of hole can be placed anywhere on the valve cover...no more welding. The 60-2 crank sensor brackets and mounts are back in production with many options for damper and pulley configurations for use with factory timing covers. Uses the LS1 style sensor. We will also be offering a new March 13071 replacement 6 rib crank pulley that will allow you to use the ATI 917160 three bolt damper and retain the factory 69-79 pulley sheave line. Note you will have to trim the timing pointer on some timing covers to use the ATI 917160 damper. PEFITTFMF |

Nice. Will the coil bracket work with IGN 1a coils? I'm in on the cam sync for sure. Sending an email on the other stuff.

LS smart coils
Yes, the current design is setup for the "LS1" smart coils. We have the ability to change the bolt pattern to work with other coils as well.
https://www.diyautotune.com/product/ign-1a-race-coil/ The cam syncs are in stock and ready to ship. |

I just stumbled across this section and the EFI topics in here. I'd definitely like to lend my voice to those calling for a Boost/EFI section - particularly if we can get EFI in the section name or header!
I have a rebuilt E-headed 1964 389 that I'm putting full standalone EFI onto with a custom dual quad intake set-up. I was going to put a thread up in Street detailing the specs and mods done but I'll put it in here as it's better than the crap-shoot that Street often is. |

Here are 2 different 3x2 fuel injection system options.
If Dick B. can't get our Rochester Tripower to do the built 421 justice, the next step is 3x2 throttle body injection. Naturally, my wife (it's her car) wants one that "looks like a Tri-Power" so that means $8,000 by the time all of the supporting parts are added to a $6,000 system. The F&B is the one that I only have a picture of, the link is to the more costly system, but looks like 3x2 bbl Rochesters. http://autotrendefi.com/efi-2g.html F&B is first 3 pics and is direct port injection. Auto trend is LAST pic and look like Rochesters |

Time to get into the efi game. I'm installing holley hp efi on my 73 bird. 83lb injectors running on e85. Should be a fun project. Wish we had an EFI section to post question and projects under.

On the other Boost Board that I moderate we have a ADVANCED TECH section.
Maybe we just need a Name Change on the PY Board for THIS Forum to ADVANCED TECH. (for BOOSTED ENGINES and EFI ENGINES). What do you think Bart? (and members)? Tom V.

Now remember if you want to race in the Nolstolga races you can’t run electronic fuel injection.

4bbl EFI is easy now. 3x2 EFI is a little less available and certainly more expensive, but in the case of my 440 and her 421, they both have 3x2 induction and that is how it always will be as long as we have them.
After investing $1k parts and labor with Promax in my 3 Holley carbs, with bad results (so far-I have to make the time to work on them, they are "as shipped" with some tuning on my part) I have to work with the Holleys for now, and give Dick B a shot at the Rochesters. Not taking anything away from my expectations of what Dick B can do, and knowing that guys have had great results with Promax modded Holley carbs, that is what I hope for, but if EFI is the ultimate route for either or both cars, I hope that Holley's patent on a 3x2 Sniper EFI system will be a product available to buy by the time my decision has to be made, and I hope to hear of an additional alternative to the $6k-$8k all in system for the Pontiac. |

new 4150 style port EFI intake assembly
We have been working on a dedicated multi-port single plane EFI intake manifold in which we have a finished product.
It can be equipped with -6 AN male or -8 AN male end rail fittings. The standard 1/2" ID fuel rail uses a -6 AN ORB thread. We have an optional upgrade for the high flow 11/16" ID fuel rails too. This intake is setup with a set of 48 lb/hr Holley EV1 style injectors and the Holley 4150 throttle body with a bright silver coating. Both work with the Holley HP or Dominator ECU systems. This intake is also equipped with our bright dip anodized billet O-ringed swivel water neck. |

What intake is that based off of? And do you have a target range for the price?

On the 2/4 runner it looks like it's the procomp manifold (copy of the tomahawk/PP). I've actually got one of those manifolds here, visually it looks good. It also ran pretty strong too on my motor.

It is the new Pro-comp brand "shootout" intake or what was originally the PP "Hurricane" intake.
It is a low profile single plane intake which in our opinion and experience is a very good intake for a N/A engine and it is an excellent intake for a boosted engine. The intake with the "Johnny 5" epoxy coating, with the -6 AN fuel rails, -6 AN end fittings and rail supports and the anodized billet water neck would be $895.00 We also offer the intake in a multitude of colors with a baked Cerakote finish too. The picture shows it with the Holley HP 4150 throttle body and a set of 48 LB./HR. EV-1 style injectors, those two items would be $820.00. We have package deals on complete intake and EFI systems as well. The next dedicated EFI intake will be a low profile front or rear mount throttle body style based on the "LS" Hi-Ram top. We also have provisions for a dedicated air to water inter cooler that will sandwich between the top and the mid plenum base. Very similar to what is on "The Raven" the 69 twin turbo RA V Firebird. This will be for more street/strip pro-touring vehicles. |

EFI Tripower
We are finishing the production run of the dual injector boss modules. Next we will put the intakes in the fixture and machine in the locator holes. Once we get that done we will weld up the intakes/boss module and machine in the injector C'bores.
Still trying to decide if the TB will be one complete piece or if the base will be separate. All of the throttle shafts and plates are all done. Once we finish the "carb" solid model we will have a better idea on how the finish product will look and act. I will email you once we get to the next step. It takes a lot of time since we are trying to make it "affordable". Think twice...cut once...LOL |
