ok i turn off the engine and some smoke comes off, as most of you guys can see the exhaust isnt on ive been waiting for over a month for my super compe to come in.

Measure the hole and install a small core plug.

That is the A.I.R. injection port machine hole. It should be tapped I beleive. Just put a plug in it.

Emission stuff,used an air pump with it.
1967 was the last year for that. You don't need it, so I'd plug it.

sweet, only reason i took it off was because i kne w it was taking up at least 5 or more hp not knowing what it w, but i knew it would be ok because theres o lot of FB's without it.

The pump (when system was all there) pushed air (about 22% oxygen) into the hot exhaust, to help burn off hydrocarbon emissions.

Weren't the California cars the only ones that came with the AIR pump? I believe you can get some good money out of that pump from someone wanting to restore a CA car.
