Need 1969 decklid ASAP - will buy/trade or both
Hey Guys,
I need a good decklid for my 69 GTO. I'm taking the body to the painter soon, and it's the only piece of sheetmetal I need. Trying to get the car in paint while my dad is still around to see it, and I don't have much time left. Will happily buy outright, or I have a hidden headlight setup and possibly a decent pair of fenders for trade fodder. Thanks, Shaggy

Have you thought about the new reproductions? They sell both the early ones (no provision for a spoiler) and the re-design (for use with spoiler).

and an extremely nice rustfree straight used GTO deck lid with perfect stainless trim, one can buy 2 or the reproduction deck lids for the actual selling price of one such an original.

Thanks for the replies guys!
On the repops - I understand that they're good - I would just rather go with the real sheetmetal. I have been told that they look the part, but don't try to sit on them like you can a real one. If I can't find an original to my liking, I will buy one of the repops. On the hideaways - I don't have the grilles for them. As far as I know, the rest is the same 68/69. I should have everything except the grilles, vacuum canister, and the vacuum lines -Shaggy
