Thank goodness! This is a good deal but I have two in college right now. I have been afraid for several days I would pull the trigger on this when I knew I shouldn't!

If the motor is sound you got a good deal and I can quit being tempted!!

I feel your pain, I have two kids also but I simply showed them how many great people succeeded without the benefits of a college degree. On the front of the radiator shroud I have a sign that says " Built with my kids inheritance", no seriously I do. I have been waiting for 14 years to build a bigger motor and it will still probably be a while before I can finish building out this block but it was just too good of a deal to pass up. I will post pics once I start getting this together and detail the performance upgrade. Back in 2001 with a weaker 350 than I have now the car ran 15.2 in Texas. I am sure this 350 is significantly faster and hopefully I will get a chance to run it as is so I can see what a change 100 cubic inches made. I hope to have Jim at Central Virginia Machine do the work as he is only 2 hours away from my house but it will depend on how much cash I can scrape together. I was thinking of getting a stroker kit from Butler Performance to maximize the cu in but again it will depend on total money and if after talking to Jim he thinks it is the best bang for the buck or if there is a better way to get to my goal of 425-450 HP and close to 500 TQ.

There are certainly a lot of options for a 428. Good luck with the project!
