Default 57 Hard To Find/Unique Parts

Looking at an all original 57 Chieftain in really nice shape. Aside from trim pieces, anything unique about these cars to confirm is available on the car now before I purchase and can't find the parts? Not for sure on getting it, but man this thing is really cool.

The rear bumper tips are unobtainable at any price. After that most any part is hard to find new or used.

No, a friend has this one. Not sure if it's been listed before.

If automatic, is it good? Expensive to repair, if you can find someone that actually knows how to repair one.

Many of the parts are the same as 1955-1957 Chevy. All glass, rubber parts, trunk lid (Chieftain only), doors, some of the molding clips. If you are building non stock you can use custom Chevy interior parts. Mechanical parts are almost Pontiac only. I even used a Chevy electric wiper kit on my 1957 Chieftain with only slight changes. Good luck.

My neighbor had a functional '57 reverb radio for sale several years ago, he swapped it out for a modern unit. Some of the tubes had been replaced IIRC.
