BVZ, you're welcome! I have to keep my owner supplied paperwork confidential, as per owner request, but on occasion I do have people say it's ok to share.

GTO JONES, just an FYI, if you'd like an accurate window sticker for your GTO, please contact me. I've done around 10 or so Baltimore-build 1969 GTO and Judges, most of them already had a PHS window sticker they were replacing in order to have a more accurate and authentic looking window sticker for shows.

Mike

Yeah, what I have is the one from PHS and it is laminated that I put in the window. Let me scan it and send it to you.

I also still have all the paper work, protect-o-plate, the tag on the ignition switch and the original book that came with it. Oh and the metal punch outs from the keys on the ring.

Some more details to sort out. Would the bar on GTO fender emblems still be painted body color on a white car?? Or is there a parts list somewhere of what colours could have been ordered. Read about it but never did seen any actual part numbers. Can’t really tell if they were ever painted.

Painted on Judge, not painted on non-Judge GTO.

Not always. Dad bought his new and the bars were painted on his car.

Here is an old glossy of the car still with original paint on the fenders at this time, back when he started his first restoration on the car. This has been scanned and digitized but you can clearly see there is still paint on the bars of the original GTO emblem.

Yep, sitting in the shop. Was my daily driver back when that pic was taken. I parked it about 1989 or so and been sitting since.

Wasn't my intention to put that up there but these old pictures were scanned in groups and it just happened to be a part of it. That is the best picture I have showing the painted bars on the GTO emblem while the car was still in original paint (at least the fender was at that point, lol) Dad may have better pictures of it, but it was for certain painted when new. Another anomaly I guess.

Thanks for the picture

Looks like white was available. Just thought it might be to much white.

Kinda crazy that they'd make 18 different part numbers just to paint the bars on a fender emblem 18 different colors.

Different times...

Same thing with the 69 firebird hood emblems with the OHC, all the background was bodycolor and they had a part number for every color
