Shifter
Anybody know if a slapstick from a 69 GP is a bout the same as the shifter in a 77GP?
Has anyone done it? |

Yes, I believe they are the same.

How can that be? It's a totally different console and shifter on a 77
I find it hard to believe it would work |

The 1969-1981 Rally shifters themselves are pretty much if not exactly the same.
The front and rear mounting brackets are different for the different models. Sometimes the brackets were welded sometimes bolted on to fit specific vehicles.
