Jim Christensen and his 63 421SD Tempest
Great story how he bought the ex-Mickey Thompson Race car and dominated the Street car scene in the mid 60's in the San Fernando valley area Calif. The best race was with a Fuelie Vette that thought he was the fastest car around until Jim got through with him. At first the Vette owner looked at the little tempest and basically chuckled until Jim fired up the beast and a two foot blue flame jumped out of the exhaust. The race was on and of course the 421SD Tempest annihilated him.The good old days.

Fulper had an article about him 10 years or so again. is that where the info came from or is there more? What was your source?
