Default Under dash a/c unit

I'm wanting to put a/c in my non a/c '68 GTO and I don't want to cut the dash, so I'm looking at under dash units. Any recommendations? My car is a 4 speed with the 400 in it.

Classic Auto Air makes a kit for 64-67 and 69. I don't know what the difference would be so that it wouldn't fit 68. For that matter, when I inquired about my 72, they didn't feel comfortable with the idea of me using their 69 kit in my 72.
