Baltimore built 65 question
I am looking at a Baltimore built 65. This is an original car and I am wondering what the floor pans should look like in terms of color? Should they be a red oxide primer or are they blacked out?
Thanks for your consideration, Tim |

Curious,
If you are looking at a legitimate “Original“ car, then what is the Factory finish on this BAL floor pan? Could it be the Black 65 in SoCal ? Chris.

FWIW I've owned probably 20 65's from all the factories. I've never seen any signs of a red oxide on the bottom side of the floor pans.

My 65-66 Balt built Buicks have black floors. There is body-color overspray near rockers. Floors were also undercoated at the factory.
My '66 Fremont GS has black floors but no floor undercoating, just undercoating on the trunk drop-offs.
