1970 Lemans non PS alternator bracket
I have a friend with a 70 Lemans who loves to take options off cars. He is converting from power steering to manual steering. So far he has acquired a 67 firebird manual box with pitman arm (pretty sure its the wrong pitman arm), a cast aluminum bracket that has three holes and one long protrusion, a small oval shaped tab of metal, a single groove water pump pulley, and a few bolts. Car currently has a 68-70 firebird bracket set up with the two alternator straps and the cast aluminum power steering bracket that bolts to the head. What he needs is I believe the stamped steel bracket with the adjustment slot in it. Anyone have a pic of what that set up should look like, picture of the correct bracket, or one for sale? He does want his engine bay to look correct for 1970. Thank you in advance!

I did the same thing to my '70 Tempest by going to manual steering from power. The manual steering set-up was from my '70 Lemans (came that way originally), so an easy swap between the cars.
