'63 Tempest Sport Coupe
I have a '63 Tempest that needs a new home and TLC. It is a Sport Coupe model with 4 cyl. and 3sp. manual trans. The roof is damaged from a tree limb, and I have other projects to do. The body is straight other than the roof, the front floor pans have some rust issues and around the windshield. Here are a few pics, have others available. I'm asking $900 or best offer.

To bad for the roof, how long has been exposed to the elements?

It hasn't been on the road since '78. Came from Portland, Oregan and was sold to the guy I bought it from years ago here in Wa., but he never put it on the road. We live in the desert part of Washington with only about 7" of rainfall a year. There is some cacer on the front floor pans, but only surface rust on the rest of the body, excluding the roof.

I had thought about it but that's a 4-day trip one way from here.

That is the problem the internet has caused, even though I have my own transport trucks, I STILL have to atone for the lost revenue of that space. In a lot of cases, the cost to transport is simply MORE than you paid for the car! Blame 4.00 a gal. fuel and government regulations. Stan |
