Hey Curt,

Why wouldn't you use a bump box? It's a bit aggressive when bumping, I can adjust that.
How fast were you able to ramp up launch boost?

I just installed a “Smooth Stage Bump Box” on mine, I didn’t buy it to ramp up the boost when leaving mine makes power from the get go. I installed it so I’d be ready on a Peo Tree, I’ll see in two weeks how it works.

I believe it is, I sent a note to Carl last week to confirm leaving in 2nd gear is ok.

Yeah, it's a lot of first gear. The rear and trans gears were selected years ago based on a many assumptions. Viking took a look as the last set of videos and had us few pointers.

" The only issue I see is the rear appears to have a little bounce right as it starts to roll out. When the bounce occurs I do not really see the wheel/rim move or bounce with it due to improper shock settings, but I think the bounce is more from the rear tire getting squashed hard. I would argue that you are hitting the tire pretty hard and it looks like you are starting to fold the tire."

We need to adjust tire pressure "increase" and then look at suspension settings.

I see my question brought up what I was thinking. I did not want to get to personal and ask to see a time slip(hint) . Grinner TB work in 1st and 2nd gear.
It would be interesting to see what happens with a little more power at the launch in 2nd gear. Car looks great! Thanks for keeping us posted.

Coan also has a 1-2 clean neutral trans brake that allows 2nd gear launch. A 2.10 gear set has a 1.40 second gear
