What color top boot for 1962 tri-tone red
I have interior code 240 and not sure what color the top boot should be. Red? Black?
I also bought red carpet but not sure if that is even correct, now I'm thinking I should have gotten maroon. Guess I should have chose a different thread title as I am also wondering if someone has a pic of what the bucket seats should look like with this code. I have seen plenty of bench seat cars with this option but no ragtops.

What color is the body paint, and what color is the top? Typically the boot is the same color as the top.
If 1962 is like 1961, convertible tops were available in a number of different colors. The factory had recommended top colors to match or nicely contrast with the different paint colors, but you could order whatever combination you wanted even if it did clash. |

In that case I'd go with a white boot.

Typically boot should match interior color.
