Default Hot Rod magazines

Going through my old Hot Rod magazines and found this poster. If anyone
wants it let me know. I don't want anything for it. And if anyone any of these
magazines also let me know. They are 1976 through 1979.

Hey oldman- one of those issues (Sep '78 maybe) had coverage of what was said to be the "2nd annual" Car Craft Street Machine Nationals. But I just acquired a 1972 Car Craft issue which has coverage of the inaugural Car Craft Street Machine Nationals in Memphis that year- which I attended, and my custom Ranchero still has the plaque on the dash. Any idea what that's all about?

I'm interested in all of the '76-'79 Hot Rod magazines. I'll send a PM.

'77 could have been the first year in Indy. But that doesn't change the fact that the very first Car Craft Street Machine Nationals was in '72.

I expect the Nationals weren't an ANNUAL affair, at least not at first.
So that "second annual" just means that they decided to make it a
regular thing just the year before?

In 1972 Car Craft planned for annual Street Machine Nationals. I don't know if any were held 1973 - 1976. Anybody know?

Probably not a coincidence that the OPEC oil embargo took place in 73-74??
