Default Lost a great Pontiac man today my dad

Haven’t been on here in a while but wanted to let you know about my dad who passed today. Mike Neely He worked for PMD for over 30 years and is the reason i am the man i am today. Through out his career he spent time in the following zones. New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Denver, jacksonville and a lot of time back and forth to Detroit. He was Pontiac to the core. He had lots of great stories and would often tell me them. Like when John Delorean would come to New York and he would have to drive him around. He said he got some great advice from Mr Delorean . Another great experience was in Philadelphia when one of the. Rocky films was being made. He was responsible for getting the trans am for the movie. My sister brother and myself all got to go with him and watch the filming. My brother and sister even got to be in one of the crowd scenes. Dad even got to spend some time with Mr.Stalone. Just a couple of the many experiences i got to share with him all thanks to pontiac. He passed today in hospice and it was only fitting that a vintage Pontiac Firebird happened to show up in the parking lot when he left us. Coincidently the Rockford files Firebird was one of his favorites. I have no idea who ownes the car or why it was there. I believe god was looking over him and providing his ride out. Love you dad!!!

Prayers sent for all affected by this event. I lost my father in 1983 three years after my mother passed. I talk to them every day and they still guide me.

Sorry for your loss. Your stories about your dad are rich in details and will be a source for great memories. He worked for Pontiac through many of the good times and spent time with the people who made Pontiac great. The Firebird showing up as a final tribute is very nice too.

Sorry for your loss.
Condolences to you and your family.

If you haven't written any of the stories down, might be a good time for it.
Memories will be great later on.
