Default Accelerator Linkage for '61, '63-'64, & '65-'66

I need pictures of the linkage on the intake manifold driver's side rear for the accelerator linkage. I believe there are three varieties. '61, '62-'64, and '65-'66.

No one reproduces these parts. I have some '61 pieces, but no later ones.

The first picture is of a '65. The other two are '62.

Thank you pfilean and 8LUG. The first two must be '61--they were the simplest setup, even with automatic trans. The '62 and later used the rubber grommet as shown on the '64 picture.

As I said, we're looking for parts for the '62-'64 and '65-'66 for a restoration and possible reproduction as these parts are scarce and not reproduced.

Here's my 65 linkage setup. Not sure if 100% correct? If someone sees something incorrect, please let me know. If more pictures wanted let me know.

Thank you. Great pictures. I like how you handled the kickdown switch-putting it on the rear carb instead of trying to crowd it between the center and rear carbs.

Here's how we did it on this '66 setup--moving the slider to the front carb to make room for the switch. I like your way better.

I found the '64 & '65 brackets. Will media blast them. I think those pieces should be bright zinc (silver).

Has anyone found a source for the rubber bushing that holds the rod from the firewall linkage? I don't believe the old one can be removed without destroying it. Besides, 55 year-old rubber is not what it once was!

Default Accelerator Linkage rubber bushing

Is this the bushing your asking about?

I found this out in the garage today & thought it may be a part to a full size Pontiac.

Any help in identifying the year or years it belongs to would be appreciated.

The round hole in the rubber bushing is just a wink over 5/16" in diameter.

Peter, That's a '65/'66 bracket. I finally found two of them. Now, I need to determine if they were plated or painted. I believe they were plated like the '61-'64 brackets.

The attached pictures are of both versions, the '61-'64 and the '65/'66. When I posted this initially, I thought there were three different versions, but now have found there are only two.

Anyone know about painting or plating?

Thanks.
