Default Firebird - Rear Coilovers?

Anybody recognize these shocks? I can't find any identifiers. Look similar to towing/truck shocks offered by Monroe/Gabriel.

They are on a 73 Firebird. Do they affect the stance any? Would be looking to swap these out for Koni reds, looks like the car still has it's stock leaf springs. Thanks

When new, they would have raised the rear end. As old as they appear, I would think most of the lift is gone.

The Koni's are much better shocks and if the rear drops at all, I truly think it will be minimal at this point. If it drops too much, you could have the rear spring rearched.

Those are just "helper springs" for worn out leaf springs or carrying heavy loads.

Thanks guys, that helps. Better to ask than to make expensive mistakes, especially over here...
