I'm getting ready to make a cam choice for my 62 Catalina with a 4SPD, 3:55 gears and A/C. The motor is a 60 over 389 with flat top pistons, PMD states 10.75 -1 but I've read actual is like 10.25-1, stock exhaust manifolds (for now) I was thinking of the 068 cam but was wondering if there is a better choice for a 4,000 LB car?

I would go with the 068. I've tried the Summit cams and currently run one in my 455 powered Chevy truck and don't like it. It will be coming out when I get a chance. Definitely the 068. jmo.

Nothing beat s the 068 in a big car.
Ram4 is for 3:90 up gears

I'd agree with the 068 - anything beyond 218/224 @ 0.050 will probably sacrafice too much bottom end in a 389 big car like your '62.
