Default Chuck Yeager's birthday today

Chuck Yeager turned 97 years old today. Happy birthday to one hell of a pilot.

His autobiography was one fantastic read! I would recommend it to anyone whether they are interested in flying or not.

He was wingman to Bud Anderson (pilot of Old Glory... the C and D model P-51s) in WWII. I met Col. Anderson and he said Yeager was one crazy SOB.

I just got around to reading his autobiography a year ago or so. He's a once in a lifetime talent who also just loved what he did. If you haven't read it, do!

Gary, I met both Yeager and Anderson in 1996. They’re both crazy SOBs!! Funny as hell as well.
