Orson Bean was crossing the street, got clipped by one car, then killed by a second car

Thats sad to hear.
Robert Conrad was a pretty cool guy. I was fortunate to meet him and rub shoulders with Robert Conrad and Lloyd Bridges and other celebrities more than once at the Bear Valley Celebrity Pro/Am. Teams of 3, 1 Celerity, 1 Professional and 1 Amateur.
Those guys are a blast to be around after a few drinks at the rewards ceremony I tell ya. It was a good time. Conrad had local presence and built a huge chalet in Bear Valley Village. It was up for sale many years back. He will be missed by many.

RIP Robert
