Default Lodging in Las Vegas?

I'm planning a business trip to the Las Vegas Convention Center in March.

Staying somewhere on the monorail line looks to be great for getting around and our sales guy wants to stay at Bally's. The price per night gets worse every day we're there.

Does anybody know a cheaper alternative (for the last night) that is close to the airport (and not in a sketchy neighborhood). I have a 6:15 am flight so close access to the airport (and hopefully a shuttle bus) is important.

Eric

You can stay at the renaissance or the Marriott time share and usually get a good rate. Anything without a casino should be affordable

Stayed at Trump hotel a couple years ago. 50th floor suite with a view of the strip was $250ish a night.

Mgm Hotel...is on the line...or even at the sahara hotel its at the corner ... or the Westgate hotel. its right next door to the convention center. your right on the main road with the westgate or Sahara hotel. straight shot to the airport. cabs now have set fares for the airport.
