Of course, I left California this weekend to go to a wedding in upstate NY and I missed my first earthquake. Roommate said he felt it in San Jose (he was awake), but there is no damage in the apartment.

Despite what we believe or do - we are often reminded of our "Living Planet" running on its' own schedule and true-to-self "global agenda" such as:

A major 6.9-magnitude earthquake was recorded in central Peru on Sunday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake was originally estimated to be a 7.0-magnitude but has since been downgraded. http://www.weather.com/news/central-...quake-20140824

Didn't feel a thing here in the central valley. I didn't even know there was a quake until my cousin in Hawaii texted me asking if everything was ok.
