1968 disk brake hose brackets
I am looking for the brackets for 1968 disk brake hoses. These bolt to the caliper mounting brackets with two little bolts. The replacements I ordered from Ames are completely different than my original style. I believe I have the LH bracket but need the RH one. I will purchase a pair if you dont want to break up the set.
Possibly the last items I need to take the car on its maiden test drive. Let leave know if you have something for sale. I could also use the 4 little bolts if you have them as well. Thanks |

I think Inline Tube has the correct brackets. I had the same problem, I only had one bracket. I made one from the original and it worked well

I checked with Inline Tube. They just have the other style brackets same as Ames. The hunt continues....

Are you talking about the two pictured, of the one in the back? The two pictured, I've seen at I.T.

I went and checked all my old drum brake setups, I have a bunch of them. Let me know if you still have trouble locating one.

For some reason, I never was notified of all the replies so apologies for the late response. I pulled up this thread to say that I looked in the MPC book and it said drum and disk used the same brackets in 68. I then see all the helpful responses that I missed earlier Thanks again guys for the help. Very much appreciated. |
