Thumbs up

This is just about as good as it gets. Nicely optioned, black on black 4 speed.

Looks so good, I saved some of the pics .

I'm sure some of you noticed a few negatives to keep it from being as good as it could be though. It is missing the rocker moldings. And the exhaust tips aren't right . The silver is worn off of the tail light lenses. Wheel trim rings dented up. The brake pedal is at a funny angle.

Enjoyed seeing it though!

Also the clutch inspection plate is missing, it looks like a nice car but it makes you wonder what else you might find in a closer inspection.

The rocker moldings could be difficult to find, but I found a pair of NOS on E-bay recently pretty cheap. The wheel opening trim would look nice on this car. Wonder when the reproduction will be ready??? Everything else this car will need is pretty easy to get.

Is this the one that has been on YouTube FS several times?

The current ad lists it still FS with

IMO: You must go see it in person if you are serious in purchasing and worried about details and correctness.

73 GTOs have really been growing on me lately. This would be the one to own. But for 25K it would have to be perfect.

I made the guy a trade offer but its a consignment dealer. I would love to have a 4 spd 73' to add to my collection. It looks very nice but not as nice as my buddy Joes.

The tach appears to be inoperative.. stuck on 2500 RPM. Another $300 or more to fix. Just too many little things wrong with this car to command $25k.

Thank you! I don't think my original lacquer paint is as impressive as this car, but everything on my car functions as intended!
