I used SEM Cast Coat Napa Red 15273. Love working with this product. Goes on silky smooth and holds up very well. The Napa Red is almost an exact match to the original hard plastic portions of the interior. I bought mine through Eastwood products, but you can also get it at Carquest. Paul~

Rex, he provided you with the Canadian zip code. I hope he didn't need this spring very quickly...

Thanks for asking Alvin. Latest snag was getting the seat track rails for the front driver's seat. Thanks to Rex, I now have them. Pushing hard on the mechanics to get the interior completed and the front and rear glass in so I can get it back to the body shop for final buffing/decal application. Still need to order wheels/tires. Really hoping to debut the car at the Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee show (just north of Gatlinburg) on June 5-7th. Paul~

Going back the body shop for final buffing next week.
Got all the glass and trim in this friday.
Kenny found what appears to be either an NOS piece of front glass or a really nice reproduction. T
Trim on rear glass needs some work.
NOS trim in the front. Paul~

Back to the body shop today. Had about 12 items that they needed to take care of including the deck lid. Hopefully back before the Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge Show in TN in June for the debut.

Paul the car is looking great, glad the seat track worked out for you. It was some that I have had from some seats from a 73 G/A that where ok but the underside of the seats where real good. Also more pics as you get it together more including the insides.

Well, this isn't exactly what I had in mind when I sent the car for "final buffing". Long story short, they are repainting the car for a 3rd time because of some problems that came up (the areas with a light coat of filler). Hopefully, this is the last time and we can get on to some serious driving.

3 times thats a bit much but I do understand it. Back in 1981 when I had mine repainted the 1st time I ended up taking mine to 2 paint shops & then to court to get it back from #2 & then to a dealership that screwed it up almost as bad & they had to repaint it 2 times because the 1st time they painted it was with some very cheap enamel paint which was to be CC/BC & it looked like they painted it with a brush. They fired the body shop mgr. & then the shop foreman got the job & they had to strip in all the way down for several reasons, but when they did finally do it correctly it turned out pretty good. I hope you don't have to continue to go through this for a long time before it gets done right.

Sure hope the body shop is standing behind their work. Seems like they are taking the long way to a finished product. Good luck.

Painted! Looks beautiful in the sunlight. They really nailed it this time. Some touch ups tomorrow, then sanding/buffing for real this time. Hope to have it back to me on friday/saturday. Can't wait. Paul~

Paul the pics look great , but all of them in the pics looked great so we didn't get to see what you were seeing. Just glad to know that they did it right for you & your now happy with the way it is. Keep up with the pics so we can see the finished car.
