Looking outstanding! I am a big fan of Florentine Red 1973 GTO's!

Your car is now out of sight. I makes me wish mine was that nice. Green with envy. Great job even though you had to go through a lot to get there, it's worth it some times.

Thanks to everyone for the parts, expertise, and encouragement on the boards. Couldn't have finished it without the help. Cudos to all.

Real nice and subtle with the black graphics, decals & chrome Rally IIs. Really nice presentation.
What tailpipes did you use? Maybe you could ask CanAmRick to resize his posted pic (smaller) on your same topic ABody thread so your pix Pop like they do here? So, what was the backstory on the failed color sanding w 180 grit? |

Paul, if you don't have them, here is a complete set.

Last items to take care of are the decals. Can anyone help with decal placement? Pictures and locations would be helpful; especially from original paint cars. Thanks, Paul~

Alvin,
Couple of updates. 1. It took four windshields, yes, four, but I finally have a windshield in place with the window moldings on. 2. I read the postings about using a VIR eliminator. I went ahead and bought one from Classic Auto Air. Works very well. Blows cold. I need it here in Western North Carolina. It's been hot. Other than that, I've been driving it. Lots of fun and gets lots of great looks/feedback. Will be taking it to a local show this weekend. Paul~ |
