My friend offered me a console for a 70-72 GTO for $50 but it has a hole about the size of a quarter where someone installed a switch of some sort. Is this worth recovering (I plan on sending it to Just Dashes) or keep looking. The wood insert and everything else is good though.

I have a green one from a 69 L Mans, auto trans, pretty nice except door has cracks, $75. Woodgrain is good, no shifter.
