1980 Trans Am T-Top(Fisher)
Saved this one from junkyard. Co-worker caught it on fire trying to jump-start it. Fire Department put the fire out I bought it for 500.00 and and now i am trying to build a fire in it again! Out came the 301 and I am currently building a modified 400 in its place.

I have two 1979 10th Anniversary Trans Ams. Both have 400cid engines, 4 sp manual, t-tops, and are silver of course. They are all original from what I can tell. I have acquired both in the last two months. I need interior restoration parts on one. This forum is probably going to get a lot attention from me. Thanks!!

I currently have a 79 T/A was 403/Th350 but am looking at a couple 400's. It's loaded including t-tops, and is black with white.
I also have a 73 T/A with number matching 455 and m-21 with 3.42 positrac.Bucaneer red with black standard interior, no options. The 455 is bored .30 over, balanced and bluprinted comp cams 292H series cam with complete roller valvetrain, a performer RPM intake and holley 750 dp carb. looking at RRE aluminum heads and possible stroker kit.

I have a black TA, WS6, but without the hipo 400. It has a Turbo 350 tranny. The car is in great shape, and I am looking to put headers, true dual exhaust, cam, intake, rebuild the carb, and invest in some higher compression heads. Also looking to possibly install a stron 200r-4 tranny, along with some deeper gears, hopefully a set of 3.23, or a little lower.

I just aquired the same vehicle a couple of days ago and am interested what you will be pushing with your new engine. I'm in the process of removing the engine and sending it out for a complete rebuild/upgrade. BTW, I was really lucky to find this jewel completely untouched by kids and in the most complete state it could be in. But it's been in a garage undriven since 1989.
