Had mine restored by 78 TA.com for $480 + shipping to & from. 98% improvement.
Repros will bring the rediculous price of junk ones down. I got 3 for sale.

Sweet, there goes the lag time of having an original set re-done. Not to mention the great price! Now we will have to wait and see what the quality is like!

Waited to long...

FWIW Classic is again reproing the 16x8 GTA wheels also. They are pretty darned light!

The 17/9 snowflakes might be a trick deal!

Nice....I really like that the 17" ones actually look like real Snowflakes, and for a reasonable price. Fantastic!

Yes I saw them and I called them right away to discuss the details! Never talked to YO before but nice guys. Sounds like they only have one or two pairs of them and the rest of them are coming in mid december (offshore made).

The one issue I have is my custom front brakes so I was very interested in the back side of the 17 inch wheel for caliper clearance. They even set me up with the wheel supplier, US Wheel, to see if I could get that data. Anyway end result they dont have the back of the wheel profile for me (or wont give it to me) but the backspacing is 4 7/8 inches and they think it has a fair bit of caliper space (they will only say it fits a stock setup at this point).

I am hoping once people start buying them I can find out if what the back of the wheel looks like. I think they look cool and the price is good.

One look at the 17's and I was sold, I placed my order, they charged my card and then sent ne a nice e-mail saying that they are only taking orders now, rims wont come in til feb '09! They changed it on the website too!
Notice I said "they charged my card then e-mailed me!"
I hope there worth the wait!

Now I'm stuck with the decision of spending the time and money on my original wheels or just buying new ones all together. Me being cheap I'll probably still restore my original ones, but this is definately an option.

Nice! I would go 17 too. I still cant believe I let a set of them go in Germany. They were on Old Ugly when it had a 301 and 4 speed. Couldnt ship a set of wheels back and the guy I sold the rusted out 77 to needed some wheels just to hold it up.

Maybe by Feb or April I can get a set, if nothing else is in the way at that point.

I want a set of both, 17's and 15's, for street and track use.
