I like that washer pump much better than the one that atached to the wiper motor...mine is still good.
Although the I am on the third coolant bottle, they give up because of the weight of the coolant. The 2 studs embedded in the bottle plastic, eventually corrode, and break out the plastic, causing leaks/failure, and the plastic degrades. I will be using something different this next time, something from another GM car/truck, try to make it look factory.....
Keep up the good work!!!
Did you get your radio/8track re worked???
My radio is (was, it pooped out) just like that one
I'm on my second trunk lid, the spoiler stud holes leak
15 inchers???

I have a guy in NJ that rebuilds the harnesses , once I get it back I will see what works. I have another friend that can fix them, so I'm not to woried about it not working.

the overflow bottle shouldnt be full, it only has a few inches in it. most get broke from putting the cap back on with there palm. and braking it off.

I havent seen her with her clothes on in so long . I almost forgot what she looked like. ;D

once I sharpen the body line on the fenders and make sure all the lines look A+ it will come back apart for the P-word

it will get its first coat of paint before it comes apart. this one will be painted 2 times. the first coat will be wet block sanded , to look for the really small waves

I worked on the tail lights today. I took apart the one and cleaned and painted the inside with silver caliper paint. and on the lens I used s silver paint marker. the other lens is the original chrome, but will still take it apart and clean and paint the inside. and touch up the chrome

Lester,
Are the exh manifolds coated???, inside and out???

Looking good!!!

I was at a swap meet 2 weeks ago, a guy had a complete 77 8-track setup, even had the demo tape.......for some season I didn't cough up the $500.00 he wanted...

Show us some pic's of the painting between paint and clear, clear sanded, clear buffed...if you could (or how ever you do it, just wanting to see other's technique, since I'm not a painter, and most of us are not, either.... Your work has been impressive and inspiring.
Thanks Again!!!
Jeff

this is the last time looking like this. paint tonight or in the morn.
the blue tape is spots I dusted some primer on where I wet sanded a little to far and found filler ( oops) a little touch up wet sand and it ready to seal.
going to try it with the doors on , I dont want to . but there a pain to put on without chips. if I dont like it , we'll pull them wet sand the jams and fix them.

sealer

has a little dust in it , but it'll sand out. it feels smooth as glass. now for the hood and bumpers.

working on gettingit back into roller so the hood and bumpers can be painted.

Look'in GOOD, Lester!!!

I was getting ready to ask you, where you were on the paint, snow's all done...LOL

Can't wait for next shots.

Yeah, painting doors on car would be tough, but handling a fresh painted 200 lb door, installing in.........would suck worse....

Glad to see the car black. I had a choice of a white or black car when I bought mine new. White was never a thought.....

Any modern tricks to getting the bumpers looking as good as the rest of car, since the flex additive changes the color
slightly???

wet sanded with 1000 grit. and going to go over it again with 2000 grit to take the 1000 marks out of it. it could be buffed now but to take the 1000 marks out it will buff that mutch better.
