I like the blue, but then I have a 79 Camaro getting the Pontiac IA2 block painted the 90s Dodge truck bright blue and white Z stripes. I also kind of like the Toyota Tacomas about 2009 bright blue. The 64 Impala SS body I have is a blue so always looking for a color for the next project.
On my TA we used Glausurit urethane but did add the flex to the nose and tail. It made it really hard to sand it was so flexible so we didn't, it's just a hair darker than the color sanded rest of the car and a little more gloss. Did you have a chance to measure the lugnut holes?

Here is an update on this project. A friend and I purchesed this T/A in Feb 2012 from Lester (Doug) just as you saw it in the last round of pictures he posted on this thread. We worked on it off and on until Aug 2013 when we finished it up. Here are a few pictures of how she turned out. We one 1st place in the F3 class at the 2013 Trans Am Nationals. Enjoy.
