Default '66 A body Vs B body bucket seat kits

Are the foam biscuits for '66 A body and B body buckets the same?

And, is there a way to eliminate the old wire structure and use all foam or more modern cushion set-up on the bottom?

Thanks for any help

I'd say that the easiest way to get what you are looking for is to find a set of modern buckets at the pick n pull and fit them to your car. I took an automotive interior class this Spring and gained a lot of respect for interior upholstery guys. Irgoatmike

Want to keep original looking buckets. Looks like the foam kits I have seen for A body are vast improvement over factory.

I think b body seats are a little bigger. I know the floor tracks are bigger. but I think you could make them work

The B's seats are a completely different animal. You need the wire springs in the framing to keep the foam and yer butt off the floorboards. With the foam you eliminate the burlap and cotton padding that originally came in the seats.
