It sure has come a long way! I wanted to try and get down to that Pontiac show in CT this month, but there's too much to do still. I'd love to come down next year.

Big update:

Got the interior installed. The seat covers and carpet are new, with all the other panels being original. Some of the original plastics were cleaned up and dyed. Got the original radio working, as well as the courtesy lights under the dash when you open the door. ( I still need to get the gold horn emblem installed, and the correct gold door panel emblems ).

Also applied all the decals! Having worked with decals before, the installation wasn't too bad. The transfer material on these ones were a total pain to work with though. It seemed like there was far too much adhesive on the backing, making its removal rather difficult. The hood bird normally would take about 3-4hours to set up, but we ended up having to wait overnight before we could even think about removing the transfer material. The kit was from Phoenix Graphics, who I haven't used before, so I don't know if all their decals fight like this? It wasn't fun. Plus they didn't include any sort of diagram for decal placement. It's not rocket science, but I've bought other kits that show where decals should be placed with detailed measurements included. For almost $600, that be nice to include.

That said, they came out very nice! Here are some pics:

( Made a custom shaker callout for it, using the "L" from the 6.6 Litre decal as a "7", so it says T/A 7.6 )

Did you put new t-top weatherstripping on? If so what brand did you use, and how does it fit?

I actually ended up using the seals that were on the car. They are in decent shape, so I figured I'd reuse them. I did do the door seals, and those were from Soffseal. They fit great, and are extremely soft compared to other brands I've used.

Also, the weather has been beautiful lately, and the T/A has been running great! I snapped a few pics while I was out with it, and took one with the 81 since I was re arranging the garage.
