Why, is your pan bent and that’s why you need such?
Why not layer 2 up?

I just want the thickness recommended by good transmission builders - not the thin kind that usually comes from most parts stores.
Thanks, Craig

Summit Racing has various types and brands available.

Any large parts store should have at least a few choices.

Consider these fiber gaskets from ATI, like Farpak.

We try not to use the cork gaskets -too easy for the customer to overtighten. We use the thinner hard fibre gaskets, stick it to the pan only with a thin bead of Grey Abro or Permatex if the pan is a bit beat up.

Cork gaskets squeeze out and fail, always have. They will do a very good job of sealing things up if you are very gentle when tightening the bolts but eventually the pan will start leaking as they will not hold their shape in long term service. So basically they just continue to squish out and end up failing where they are punched for the bolt holes.

I use and recommend the fiber gasket, gently glued to the pan with a small amount of RTV so you can remove the pan and use them over and over again. I've never had one drop of oil get past the fiber variety and use them in all the TH400's that I build here.........

What do you think of this gasket for a stamped steel pan and using B and M synthetic transmission fluid?

Hey everybody,
Thanks for your help and per several positive suggestions from different guys the one I remember recently is Cliff - to go with a Farpack Fiber gasket from global transmission parts in Ohio – $3.95 plus shipping!
I also got a new TCI replacement Transmission brake solenoid.
Take care, Craig
