Perhaps I should have been more specific. I am looking for a Pontiac 400 cubic inch engine with a casting date April 1, to April 20,1969. If you refering to the (bowtie) I have been guilty of owning several bigblock camaros and chevelles.I have since returned converted back to my old ways Thanks Joe

I need a WQ, but I realize that thats those are rare. At this point I would be happy with having the correct date code. I can build it to ram air specs as I have the correct heads and intake. Thanks Joe

Just a follow up on my spare #0071. It's a WT, MUN 047196, with partial VIN 29Z102323, from a GTO. But the date turned out to be I058, much earlier than you're looking for. But thought I'd give you the info in case you don't find anything closer.
