Default 1968 GTO 400 H.O. 4 speed project $7,500.00 O.B.O.

I have a real 242 vin complete unmolested never hot rodded original 1968 GTO 4 sale (missing original engine but comes with a completey rebuilt 1968 firebird WZ code .030 over 400) . It is an extremely RUSTY car, frame has rust through above both the rear tires. I have a nice donor frame blasted and powder coated satin black with rebuilt front and rear suspension, rebuilt original 10 bolt 3.55 posi "N" case rear axle, rebuilt drive shaft, very clean cross member, everything has been blasted and painted chassis black, rebuilt original M-20 4 speed with rechromed shifter. The WZ code engine has been completely gone through from top to bottom, it has the correct #16 casting cylinder heads with H.O. powder coated resurfaced exhaust manifolds, resurfaced fly wheel, new starter motor, rebuilt original alternator, the engine has been filled and primed with zinc added oil, new spark plugs rebuilt distributor, cap and rotor. it still needs a carb, fuel pump and fuel line to carb and it could be fired up. Needs front brakes rebuilt, steering rebuilt, new motor mounts and clutch assembly to complete drive train, bell housing has been glass beaded and looks like new. I also have the 4 original 14" ralley wheels they need to be restored yet, they have like new redline radial tires mounted on them. It wont take much to assemble the chassis with all the rebuilt parts. The car comes with a nice clean floor pan out of another A body and some other misc. extra parts. The original hood tach has been restored by redline gauges. I have a clean title with P.H.S. documentation and some original papers that go with the car. It is vedoro green with a black vinly top, black buckets with console and hideaway headlights I also have all of the reciepts that I have spent on the car. I have more pix of the car and frame but can take more pix if needed, the car is in storage right now so I would need some time. Email me directly at dkekesi@sbcglobal.net with any questions no pms please thanks Dave.

My best guess is the car sat for 25 years in and out of a barn and mice made multiple nests in the frame rails on both sides above the rear wheels and they must have gotten wet, because I cleaned out a bunch of them on both sides and thats where all the holes are.

Here are some more pics of the rebuilt "WZ" engine, blasted/powder-coated frame and GTO. I have more pics available, GTO needs to go to a new home! I have other projects and interests that have priority and dont want to see this just sit around and rot some more, MAKE OFFER!

If the GTO doesnt sell soon I am willing to part it out, (its on ebay ending soon) so if theres something you need for a 1968 GTO 4 speed with hideaways and hood tach let me know, the car is complete except for what mother nature took from it, thanks.
