Default Bench Test Trans Am Tachometer

Hi, I have a bunch of Trans Am tachometers and I'm looking for a simple way to bench test them w/o having to hook them up to a car. Does anyone know of an easy way to do this?

A pulse generator would do it if you have one.

I'd be willing to invest in one. Any idea where I can get one that's reasonably priced?

There's a Corvette place that sells their own tester. In my opinion $150 is as cheap as your ever going to be able to find one of these, short of building one on your own.

Let me know how that works, it looks like a decent tester for the $. I looked over their website and watched a couple of their video posts on You-tube as well. Looks like the guy knows what he is talking about. I would like to see he super shop tester, in-person. The one he sells on-line is his more basic version that is portable.
