Deadhead, This car was ordered with 20+ options, actually 25 in total but 5 or 6 of them are for different lamps. Price before otions was $2,859, after atllying up the extras she stickered at $4,056. Pretty high considering no AC or 8 lugs. The only "power" option selected was power brakes. I'm just trying to keep it looking like it was when born, including eventually narrow whitewall tires with those caps, i might consider red lines though. Of course a factory tach to go along with the guage cluster is a must if i can find the right one.

Also deadhead, no problem taking any pics you want just let me know exactly what you need and an email address and we'll get em right out to you. BTW, What's D/S stand for?

Paul
Car looks so reserved. Just the right amount of everything. That was big bucks. My well optioned '66 Bonne wagon was invoiced for $4400, so that shows how high that '63 was. I am going to delete my center air vent & put the gauge cluster in to go with the tach as well. The green makes them look 'industrial strength' inside.

Thanks. I should only need Driver Side (D/S) tunnel area Pics when the time comes. I think I have all the linkage & pedal stuff figured out.

I saw the car on ebay maybe a week or so back, saved a few pics for my files, this might be relisted? At any rate i absolutely love that car, one of the nicest paint schemes for a 1960 car that i've seen.

I really like how the Silverleaf green looks. If anyone has a pic of a Silverleaf '63 Vert with a white top please post it. That's my Cat's future color combo (Tri-Fawn interior).

Yes it is! Actually, I think it might have been dealer installed.

I was going to post that link 2 days ago, but.......

Sorry engineer9. All day yard sale yesterday, mexican food last night, all morning on the john this morning.

Here is a stunning picture of engineer9's 62 Catalina. This looks right out of a magazine. Very nice.

Wow it works. Just figured out how to resize a photo to load. Owned my 62 Cat (Ventura) for almost 4 years. Purchased it from the son of the original owner in southern California. Car has 78,000 miles. Just installed a 400 turbo (Bendsten adapter kit) to the 389. Also added a 4bbl.

Nice! I can hear that thing barking those big tires between gears. I have already killed one vacuum modulator since putting a kit in my TH400 this spring.

There it is GNX. I was wondering if you were going to put it up there. I was looking for one to show the wife how good a four door hardtop would look. That car would be close to the picture I have in my head for the perfect family car. The only thing I would do is throw on a vinyl top, eight lugs, and a real mellow exhaust note. Air would be nice as well. How is the 2+2 coming along?

I think I have my wife snowed. She thinks it's because she is wearing something skimpy.... (she doesn't realize that I was just out a this post looking at all the beautiful Pontiacs )

Happy to oblige. The 2+2 is coming slow. Real slow. Since I finished school in June, I've been trying to catch up on the 2 1/2 year long honey-do list. I hate painting (the house that is). I did finish plug welding all of the holes in the left quarter. They were form a previous owners dent puller field day. The roof, left quarter, and trunk lid are stripped. Next chance that I get I will start stripping the right quarter. The lower quarter panel also has a silver dollar sized hole to repair.

Hope these suffice! The two pictures do a good job of showing how variable the paint is on my car (and most Montero Reds I've seen/heard of?). In the sun they are bright red, and out of direct light it's almost maroon. I love these cars!

These 'verts were made for goin' topless - and that's just what they'll do! (at least when i get that top motor fixed...!)

That first picture is awesome. The car just keeps on going. That extra 7 inches in the rear over the Catalina really makes a difference.

Exactly my thoughts, i love the way it looks with the low light. That 1/4 seems to never quit and actually appears in that pic to be longer than the door and front fender combined...is that possible!? If driving anything smaller than a fleetwood i'd hate to be the guy sitting in the next lane when that darksider pulls alongside at a stoplight.

Very nice Mike, thanks for the pics.
