Default PYE GTO Diecast

Since a link was provided in a different thread for the new RC GTO, I thought maybe some collectors might like a comprehensive list of the PYE GTO diecast models. This is one I put together about 10 years ago for 1999 ~ 2008 production. Not absolutely positive it is complete, but is very close to complete if not complete.

The list is sorted by the year the models were sold.

"Bac" means Backyard Conversions.

Thanks to Jeff W. for his help so many years ago!

Thanks Jon,
Now I want to go to E-Bay and see if I can find one of these jewels!

There are a couple out there now.

Haven't looked for these in years, have no idea of current pricing.

I don't know if it qualifies as a diecast model, but I have a 1:25 scale 1964 GTO bank that I got as a birthday present 30 years ago. It doesn't have any markings on it to indicate the manufacturer, and the casting is kind of rough.

Stuart - I don't currently know where it is, but I have one somewhere in the original box. Maybe, if I find it, the manufacturer's name will be on the box.

Now that you mention it, I forgot I still have the box mine came in - I just looked at it (I have a shelf in a closet where I keep model boxes) and it's an unmarked white box, with nothing written on it at all.

Stuart - Well, I won't feel guilty for not looking for the box

Just posted a new thread with GTO plastic models listed.

Bluesugar - the Cox is listed on this list.

It has a plastic plug on the bottom with a slot in it. You can put coins in through the slot, or pry out the plug to empty it.

I bought these two from Costco a couple of years ago. Not sure if there collectable ones or not but there really nice. There heavy, all doors hood and trunk open.
