Default Just an FYI: 1969 and 1970 Firebird use totally different exhaust manifolds

And also totally different headers.

1969 has the steering box towards the rear, while 1970-up has the steering box towards the front.

OK, I don't know Firebirds apparently. Built a new engine so let me clarify what I'm looking for.
Round Port RA Style iron manifolds for Edelbrock round port heads to go into a 1977 Trans Am.
Cheap set of Round Port headers we could modify to install in a '67 Catalina for this summer, Then put the iron manifolds in the TA later. Thanks for your info. Rich

Are your manifolds originals or reproduction?

1oldgoat,no clue, was told they look like originals but dont know and did not care at the time.I have a complete package that I was going to use,Speedmaster that my machine shop went thru and a OF cam.Have not decided what I want to do yet,was going to swap heads and cam on a 455 in my garage and put a bathtub on it and put in my 69 TA clone. The 455 was in it until I swapped in a 428 RA V.
