Default Fiberglass fenders

Has anyone had an interest in glass fenders for the X Bodys?
I wrote an email to four companys about this and the only two responded.
The companys:
Unlimited Products http://www.up22.com/

VFN Fiberglass http://www.vfnfiberglass.com/site.htm

Showcars Body Parts http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com

USBody parts http://www.usbody.com/

The original email Sent Aug. 8th:

I was wondering if you had any plans or have ever thought about making fiberglass fenders for the 71-74 Pontiac Ventura, 73-74 Oldsmobile Omega and 73-74 Buick Apollo? They all use the same fender and I know they are the same as the Nova except for the headlight area and I get a lot of people writing me asking if I know if they are available. I think the popularity of these cars is increasing and was wondering what your thoughts were on this subject.
Thanks,
Doug

I would be interested in steel if I could get them.I don't know if I would trust fiberglass fenders it would also be great if they would make a header panel also for a 74 ventura. Do you think they would make those along with a 67-69 FB Style Hood to have Ram Air that would also fit a ventura. What Do you think about these suggestions?

I would like to have a set of 'glass fenders. The hood that cwolf mentioned would be cool too.
I have heard bad things about Showcars Bodyparts though so Im not sure I would purchase from them, I think they are in Canada too..........be pretty expensive to ship a part that big from Canada.
VFN sent me a quote for a 'glass hood with 6" cowl scoop.....they may make a set of fenders if requested. Id say they would be pretty expensive though. However, VFN makes high quality parts so they would probably be worth it.

I have previously considered getting glass Nova fenders, a glass hood and front bumper and making my own flip up front end. I've had body work experience and with the fact that my header panel is glass half the headlight bucket is done, would just need to mold all the parts in and build up the rest of the headlight area.
Steel fenders would be nice to have available too.
I think the FB style scoops would be cool on a Ventura hood, I want to dump the cowl induction scoop on my Omega and put '72 442 scoops on.

Ok Now I guess the big question is how we can get enough people to get the manufactor to listen for steel parts and fiberglass also

I would be happy with just finding a pair of scoops that would look good. I want to make my own ram air system.....I can fab the carb pan but have not seen any scoops that I thought would look good. I could try to make some but I have no experience with fiberglass. I would like to put a scoop on each side of the center raised area on my stock hood....of course the scoops would need to be functional.
Any ideas?

I think the early Formula 400 Firebird scoops would look good on a Ventura. Sorry about the crappy attempt at the "shopped" photos but you get the idea.

Thanks.I don't have this feature on my computer cause it's too old.I think the 76 Formula gives it a 64 Gto look to it almost.

Hmmm... Don't you like the 74 shaker ??? I understand it to be the most functional of the bunch. Certainly be the easiest to install.

I like the shaker, I just think it might look to much like a GTO clone and different is good! I think Pontiac should have had a ram air set up and 400's/455's on the Venturas as a factory option. The Novas had the SS option through the eary 70's so the early Venturas (as well as the Olds and Buick X bodys) should have had something before the 74 GTO option other then just a sporty name and stripes.
