Can Someone Explain ----
Why a TI voltage regulator would be different on a big car vs GTO? They have different part numbers. Is it the physical module itself that is different or something inside? To this simple mind they're both running the same motor that have the same options.

Just a few guesses here, could be completely wrong. 1. The length of the wiring harness connected to the regulator. If I recall, the TI regulator has wiring attached to it. 2. The B body cars have an ammeter and the A body cars have a warning light. May be some minor change to account for that. Can't think of anything else functionally that would be different.

If I remember correctly one of the cars has 2 wires at the regulator and the other has 3 wires. Its been a long time so I could be wrong.

The regular B body regulator uses 2 wires and has 3 terminals. The A body regulator uses 4 terminals and I am not sure how many wires it takes.
A normal 63-68 B body uses the same regulator and it only fits 63-68 B bodies because it uses the gauge
