The fuel bowl float set up in those early Carbs leaves a lot to be desired.
If you don't need it for a restoration on a 67 then sell it to someone that does.

The original units that year have a round tag, and IF you can find one in good shape they are pricey.

The Rochester SR's with the stamped number and later Julian date, or the Carter equivalents bring a lot lot less. Even so they tend to be in better shape more times than not being built later than the original model year carbs.

Condition is a BIG deal with price, and if it's complete or missing parts. Many have also been commercially "remanufactured" which makes them worth next to nothing in many cases as they will be hacked up, miss-matched parts, and things done to them making them difficult if not near impossible to rebuild again. Pics would help......

It's a running carb came off my 400 last year. Seems to be all original. The previous owner stated the original carb caught on fire back in the day.

After looking at the picture, Are those idle mixture screws correct for the 7037262? They look like they go with a throttle plate that accepts the plastic limiter caps.

Yes, they are correct for a service replacement unit mfd in 1972.

Still trying to find a price point to list the carb. If someone can use it for a restoration rather than me putting it on the shelf. If anyone can give me a heads up it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again
