I know everyone is ass patting but I'm the devil's advocate... those numbers seem low for that combo in my opinion.... 14.8-1...that's packed fairly tight

If he had said this is a max effort race engine that had known parts consumption in a short amount of time it might not be the best numbers. Almost 900 hp and easy on parts I call it a win

Have a dyno sheet of your engine?

I still say that's a good combo.
With the aluminum block it is probably outstanding.
In a cast iron block like his 'real' race engine, which is 955 HP,

Heads ? are they KRE CNC 400cfm High Ports ?
I heard that head is just sorta tall and narrow. Know a guy who had a set and sent them out for further port work by one of our guys here and really picked up.
A really good head should get that on pump gas. Not that I have ever made it but its in the works.
But its a bracket engine and if its makes that power and lasts without a bunch of maintenance its a win I say.

I gotta get to know and talk to more guys. Your list is increasingly impressive.
(Ball-busting)

Sounds like a killer combo to me. Now get it installed and beat on it, let’s see what it does at the track!

Thanks guys. I'd like to add that this build is a platform for future improvements. IM me if you want more detail or have recommendations to make more hp reliably.

That's a nice piece. There's nothing wrong with a 890hp bracket engine. Any "expert" that posts something negative should bring out their bullet and line it up. But then the reality is they don't have anything that nice.
