slow-mo launch
My wife took this video Saturday. First round of my 10.0 index race. I think it looks cool, that the 2 cars launch the same. My .001 light to his .017. Both ran 10.01, I won. Made it to the finals where I red lit.

Mike, your car is working very well now. Good work on the converter/chassis setup.

sweet video, still alot left in your front shock rebound adjustment. what did you end up doing for a restitrictor plate? You still have plenty of steam to leave like that!

Thanks guys. Took some time but have the rear shocks dialed in. The front still have regular stock replacement shocks (no adjustment). It's been working so just left them in there. I am happy with the way it hooks with stock suspension.
200lbs in the trunk helps the launch. DA Saturday was 2500 falling to 2100. 60's where in the 1.35's. Last month in better air it was pulling some 1.33 60's and went 9.85 by accident (with 200lbs in it). I did make a bunch of different size restrictor plates that I will start play with when the air gets better. Going to go on test and tune and try each plate and see what happens. Need to know how much each plate is good for. For the rest of the year I have to stay at 10.00. Over the winter I will be putting a cage in and getting my license. I am dying to know what it will do with no weight and all out. |
