Default Where are all of the heads that were replaced by the new wave of awesomeness?

Surely you guys have a bunch of old non performing Edelbrocks and/or Kaufmans?

I mean after all, you cant be switching to ram air XXIVIIs, or $billet$ heads and still need the old stuff...

Some of us only need 1800hp, so cut that junk loose for those of us that can use it.

We're still running a lot of the E-heads. They are the best bang for the buck if you want to make serious horsepower.

You didn't check with us, we have a gently used pair of Big Power hi-ports available.

People don't want to spend the money for the good used stuff. Most want the good stuff for penny's on the dollar. So people either hang on to it or get the word out amongst the small group of guys that actually spend money.

There were at least 8 pair of Warp 6 heads racing at Norwalk! HP’s are the BEST bang for your buck!!!

Most used race stuff averages 50 cents on the dollar.

They should but most Pontiac guys seem to be really cheap. Just my opinion based on past experience

We sold the Tigers in 3 day's and the Gaby E-head's in 2 weeks both went for $.50 on the dollar. No sense in holding on to stuff IMO.

depending on your goals, there is a really nice set of Snyder Tiger heads and sheetmetal manifold still avaialbe. contact Jeff Raff i believe.
I scooped a set of wide ports up last fall, that i believe to be nice pieces., selling my 330 ehead package to a local racer in massachusetts next week, there are some deals out there.
I agree about not too many set of trick hi ports come up for sale. Most likely there is a reason.

I have had really no issue selling any parts. Heads, intakes, cams, valve train, headers, hoods, cranks, blocks, fuel pumps etc. good parts at decent prices (usually 50 cents on the dollar) move. Over priced junk doesn't.

Must have to do with the name of the person selling the stuff. John Snyder had a smokin deal on a 1100+ engine, took almost 4mo to sell. I don't think it was overpriced junk.
Anyway good stuff comes up for sell every now and then, you just have to keep an eye out and don't be a tire kicker or odds are it won't be there when you finally make up ur mind.

If I tried to sell my motor, fresh off the dyno with new rods rings bearings etc for 50 cents on the dollar, it would be for sale for a very long time...

What are you looking for ? I have a brand new finished set of High Ports and a big high end set of E heads, fresh, Ti valves, new Pac springs and all the rest, T&Ds, studs, pushrods that could be for sale.
