Converting manual brakes to power
I looking to convert my 64 GP from manual brakes to power
Has 8 lug wheels. Looking to use the 67-68 Master Cylinder Does anyone make new or reman Power Brake Boosters? and what other parts are needed to complete conversion Thanks Rich |

Is appearance important? If not why not go to someplace like MPP and get a current design 7 or 8 inch dual diaphragm unit?

Appearance as far as stock looking no.
It looks like they require 18 inches of vacuum to operate properly. I will call them to discuss Thank You |

Just put the MPB booster and master in my 64 Catalina to replace a failed factory booster and convert to a dual master. I have 8 lugs also. The car stops nice with the upgrade.

You should really enjoy the 8 lugs with the power booster. They are such a nice braking system when cleaned and adjusted regularly and kept in good shape..
