Procharger P1SC Supercharger Will make
800+ Horsepower.
The unit is Brand New, Never had the special supercharger oil in it. (Comes with the standard 3 bottles of supercharger oil.) No pan modifications (drain to pan) required. Comes with standard (3 inch 8 rib) Supercharger Pulley. Comes with standard 8 rib drive belt Typical price (between $2550 and $2750) is shown in the link below. http://www.jpcracing.com/procharger-p1sc/ My Price $1950 (if you pay shipping with a Fed-X or UPS Shipping Label) If you can't swing that deal, we can figure out the cost for shipping/insurance and add that for your location in the USA. Tom Vaught ps Luhn Performance sells Pontiac Brackets for this supercharger.

I will answer any questions about this supercharger in this thread.
Info. 800+ STREET Horsepower. The unit is Brand New, Never had the special supercharger oil in it. (Comes with the standard 3 bottles of supercharger oil.) No pan modifications (drain to pan) required. Comes with standard (3 inch 8 rib) Supercharger Pulley. Comes with standard 8 rib drive belt 1) Luhn Performance sells Pontiac Brackets for this supercharger. I know that they make a driver's side mounting set-up. Not sure about the Passenger side, talk to Mark about that stuff. 2) This supercharger will make 800+ HP with a simple Blow Thru Carb type boost system. Same HP with a FiTech carb system should be possible. 3) The unit has a self contained Lubrication system that uses a sump style reservoir on the front part of the supercharger. This sump holds 3 bottles of special fluid for the Procharger Supercharger. 4) Some smaller HP superchargers come with a 6 rib belt to drive the unit. This unit comes with a 3" diameter 8-rib supercharger pulley and a matching 8 rib drive belt. 5) Most Pontiac installations use a separate belt for just the supercharger. 6) The P1SC unit (even though it is rated 800+ hp) does not create a lot of heat on the street applications like a F-2 Procharger RACE supercharger. This means you may be able to make lots of street HP without adding a inter-cooler system. A SNOW injection system may be all the charge cooling that you need. 70bird with his turbo system uses a SNOW injection system. Added the info from the street section post here. Will try to remove the other post. Tom V. So that will do for the basic info. Myself, Mark at Luhn Performance, or Brian H could answer more questions if you post them up. Typically a supercharger system using a belt can be installed in a couple of days, turbo systems typically take more time

Tom. with the included pulleys, what kind of boost would this unit be making at 5500-6000 crank rpm?

Quote:
If you had a 6" crank drive pulley then the belt pulley step-up ratio would be 2 (6 divided by 3 =2) If the supercharger INTERNAL step-up ratio is 4.14 then 4.14 times 2 = 8.28 If the engine is running 6000 rpm then 6000 times 8.28 = 49,680 supercharger rpm which should be close to 12 psi of boost pressure. (It depends on the rest of the engine what the boost pressure is.) With a 7" crank pulley the supercharger would be turning 57,960 rpm. Enough to make over 15 psi of boost pressure on the typical Pontiac 400 engine. Don't race Boost, go for mass flow thru the engine and wheel dyno confirmation. Procharger advertising says that the P1SC supercharger has the ability to make over 800 hp on the typical engine at max supercharger rpm. Max Supercharger RPM typically 60,000 rpm. Luhn Performance made 862 HP at 5300 rpm with a basic 440 cid engine on the dyno at 13 psi. (Vortech Supercharger though). Tom V.

Last Price Drop then I will offer it to Luhn Performance.
Pretty sure when he owns it and sells it as part of a kit, the Supercharger price will be higher. Price for a few days is $1650. Supercharger is new. Tom V.

what side does this mount on and and is it standard or reverse rotation?

I DO NOT HAVE Procharger mounts for either side.
They do not offer them. (Unless you have a Chevy or a Ford). Luhn Performance (a PONTIAC VENDOR) does make Brackets to mount the Procharger superchargers, I believe on either side of a Pontiac Vehicle, (for sure on the Drivers side as they did the original brackets for Brian H Supercharged Firebird years ago). The Supercharger does not care which side it is mounted on. The brackets do that for you. To the best of my knowledge on Procharger units, they DO NOT OFFER ANY REVERSE ROTATION SUPERCHARGERS USING A NORMAL BELT IN FRONT DRIVE SYSTEM. HOPE THAT HELPS ANSWER YOUR QUESTION. Have a great day. Tom V.

Just for my information, what information would they provide?
There is a metal tag right on the supercharger that says what the Model is: P1SC Here is the spec sheet for all of the superchargers Tom V.

Here is a link to the LS board where they ask the question about compressor maps.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...ochargers.html Post #12 One post of several. quote "I used to work ATI and helped with alot of the blower testing. There are no published maps for release and probably won't ever be. The maps changed a little depending on the size motor you have and can be misleading if some doesn't understand how the system works. Just realized I need to change my name. Not at GWP anymore.. Jason quote Sounds like they tested the units of a common test engine or a couple of engines vs removing the engine from the equation all together like Vortech/paxton does with their testing. So I have provided all of the info that the Procharger People are willing to offer for the unit I am selling. Vortech/Paxton clearly has photos of their Engineer testing the Vortech superchargers on their test stand. I personally find it interesting that this one individual at Procharger said they even had compressor maps. If you say you have a compressor test stand then you need to test the supercharger according to the recognized testing procedure for superchargers or the data is suspect. I will leave it at that. Tom V. Hope that helps you out. The unit is still going off the market now that I have answered your questions
