Default Update

Installed Fabcraft (Mark Williams) Spool,axles with strange rear disc brakes. Also hoosier 275/60/15s on powdercoated weld wheels. Driveshaft is next. Getting close I should have it out this spring.

No problems fitting a 275/60/15 tire in the wheelwells??? What size and b/s on your rear wheels? BTW, great project

Its tight maybe a 1/4inch on each side. Going to take a little off the lip and rework the framerail for some extra. I will let you know on bs had these rims for 23 years this is the 3rd 62 they are going on.

Exhaust and driveshaft are in. Really all it needs now is a battery and fuel and it will be mobile.

Went out for roll bar. Then to the upholstery shop. Will be out spring of 18.

Got the front seats and rear armrests upholstered, passenger door is getting patched up, primed, filled and ready for paint on the inside. Then on to the drivers before putting the guts in them. Rear window is ready to go in.

i got heads for days! ill join in! while still doing my journal. got new heads stripped and ready for a bath. sent those bad boys to the shop. getting the pockets widened to accomodate the bigger springs for my full head replacement. bigger cam is ready too. just deciding on rings. lol.

Well my 62 is prowling the streets. Took it for its first ride off the block yesterday. Ran great everything works no leaks lots of looks. Wont be going far with the 4:56 gears though. Need to tighten the steering box and a few other tweaks.

Been somewhat done for the past 2 years. Going to make some changes. Gears first 4:56 are to much. Two 4s are a must. The single 4 looks lonely.
